Warranty

All Stile and Rail doors are guaranteed for a period of 3 YEARS after day of delivery. Troy Corners Door Company agrees to repair or replace any door (unfinished) without charge, which is defective within the meaning of this guarantee. Each door is guaranteed to be of good material and workmanship and to be free of defects which render it unserviceable for the use for which it is intended. (Please note that natural variations in the color or texture of wood are not considered to be defects.) To be covered by this guarantee each door must be inspected upon arrival and all claims or complaints must be filed prior to applying painter’s finish.

To be covered by this guarantee the following precautions must be taken.
(NOTE: Defects resulting from neglect of these precautions will not be covered by this guarantee.)

  • Doors shall be properly sealed on all six surfaces to prevent absorption of moisture (including the top and bottom).
  • Doors shall not be stored or installed in a building that has uncured plaster, cement, or excessive moisture.
  • Doors shall not be subjected to abnormal heat, dryness, or humidity or sudden changes therein.
  • Storage buildings must have permanent type heat in operation long enough to allow curing before delivery.

Troy Corners Door Company follows A.W.I. Tolerance concerning warp and their deferred policy under #1400-T-3 (see attached section) that allows claims for warpage to be deferred at the option of the manufacturer for a period not to exceed one year. This permits doors to acclimate to temperature and humidity conditions.

DISCLAIMER

This guarantee in no way holds Troy Corners Door Company responsible for any work performed by an outside entity.

This guarantee does not cover charges for finishing or installing replaced doors unless specified under Additional Coverage.

This guarantee is not effective if goods are repaired or replaced without first obtaining written consent from Troy Corners Door Company.

#1400-T-3
WARP
Warp is any distortion in the door itself, and it does not refer to the door in relation to the frame or the jamb in which it is hung. Warp is measure by placing a straight edge or a taut string on the concave face and determining the maximum distance from straight edge or string to door face.
